There are 51 million children in America. 31 million have never owned a children’s book. In two weeks McDonald’s put 23 million books into the hands of these children. (The publication of these books is one of the highlights of John Montgomery’s advertising career.).
The books were given away at McDonald’s stores. Based on results, McDonald rolled out the program globally.
